Refund policy
SGO Leathercraft — Returns & Refunds Policy
At SGO Leathercraft, our leather goods are individually handcrafted, and many are unique, one-of-a-kind pieces.
We hope you love your purchase. However, if something isn’t right, please contact us.
Change-of-mind returns
For eligible purchases made online, you have the right to cancel your order within 14 days of receiving your goods, without giving a reason.
To exercise this right, please notify us within those 14 days. You then have a further 14 days to return the goods.
Items should be handled only as necessary to inspect their nature, characteristics and functioning. We may make a lawful deduction from your refund if excessive handling has reduced their value.
Customers are responsible for return postage costs when returning an item because they have changed their mind. We recommend using a tracked postal service and retaining proof of postage.
Faulty, damaged or incorrect items
If your item arrives faulty, damaged or not as described, please contact us promptly with your order number and details of the problem.
We will resolve the matter in accordance with your rights under the Consumer Rights Act 2015, including covering reasonable return costs where required.
Refunds
Where you exercise your statutory right to cancel, we will refund the price paid and the applicable standard outbound delivery charge, in accordance with UK consumer law.
Refunds will be issued to your original payment method within the legally required timescales. We may withhold the refund until we receive the returned goods or evidence that they have been sent back, whichever is earlier.
Handmade leather
Natural variations in leather grain, colour, markings and texture are part of the character of our handcrafted products. These characteristics will be reflected in our product descriptions and photographs.
This does not affect your statutory rights.
